Blog 5 Fables

The first fable is called The Wolf in Sheep's clothes. The moral of the story is that looks can trick people. The wolf tricked the sheep by walking the lamb away from the sheep and eating them. The other fable that is called The Four Oxen and the Lion. The moral of this fable is that there is power in numbers, when the Oxen were together the lion could not eat them. But when they weren't together the lion could eat them because they were less powerful. The fourth fable is the Crow and the Pitcher. The moral is that even if you think something is impossible it's never impossible. The last fable is The Fox and the Goat. Th moral is don't trust anybody.

Wooden Bowls

I think this story was interesting on how the grandfather was so clumsy and the husband and wife did not like it at all. I also liked how the 4 year old boy made a wooden bowl for the grandfather to eat in so he would not eat alone. The way i think this relates to cares is reasponsibility because the four year old boy was responsible enough to notice that the grandfather needed something else to eat in.

genetics

What I learned from reading these articles is that how close chimps genes are to us humans they are only off by a couple genes. I also learned that everyone has there own unique set of genes and that know one is the same at all. Twins are almost identical but they are still not the same. Another thing is that scientist can clone DNA but aren't quite advanced to do it properly.

Heredity And Traits

On this site I learned about Heredity and Traits. First Heredity is what we inherit from our parents for example our height color eyes and color hair are Heredity. For Traits I learned about our thumbs when a baby has a hitchhikers thumb both of the parents have it because it is the weaker Trait. A regular traight thumb is the dominant trait and if one parent has a hitchhikers and the other has a regular thumb the baby will come out with a regular thumb.

How to break the laws of physics

A way to slow down time is to first be calm. kinda like being very bored and don't do anything thats fun. Even though time never stops or slows down your brain makes you feel like you had a long or short day. Now to speed up time you have to be occupied and doing things that you like. An example may be playing going to an amusement park the day goes by fast because you are having fun and your brain is only focusing on that fun and nothing else.

To go backwards in time is almost impossible but its doable. A way that scientists think that they can go backward in time is to travel through a wormhole that may exist in the middle of a black hole. But to get there they would have to invent a time machine that can withstand the massive forces of a black hole.

To stop time you have to go on a plane fast enough to go on the other side of the earth. The time will be the same as it was on the other side. The reason that time stops is all the time periods are different than one another.

GIANT SNAKE INVADING NORTH AMERICA!!

Scientists are now seeing that big snakes like Anacondas, boa constrictors, and pythons now living in the wilds of southern Florida. Although these snakes are not native in the United States, some of them are now being born there. Most were peoples pets but got to big so owners had to release them into the wild. So far the, the snakes have been put. But there's nothing stopping them from moving farther north. According to scientists some of the larger snakes could live comfortably in a large part of the United states. Eventually sharing space with 120 million Americans. As North America is heating up scientists say that in about 100 years the snakes could become common species in the states of Washington, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, West Virgina, New Jersey, New York.

One topic i found interesting 1st trimester

The topic that I found most interesting this trimester was the owl pellets. I liked this topic because I was kinda familiar with it because I've done it in the past years. Three things that I learned are first owls have to produce pellets. I thought they did not have to. Another important fact that I learned was that owls can twist there head almost all the way around. I used to think that they could turn it all the way. The last piece of information that I learned is that owls can eat multiple pray at a time. That was interesting because since they produced pellets I thought as soon as they ate something the owl would have to digest it before it can consume another animal.
